Mertz Resigns at Kutztown


Tim Mertz has resigned as head coach of the Kutztown baseball team. Mertz had a career record of 266-130 in the Cougars dugout for 17 seasons. During his managerial tenure, he won two District 3-AA championships and one BCIAA title.  The Cougars also reached the PIAA Class AA championship game in 2007. Leister Commits to LaSalle

Exeter’s Hailey Leister has given a verbal commitment to play collegiate lacrosse for the LaSalle Explorers, berksic.com has learned. Leister is a two time All-Berks selection.
