Wilson’s Carley Brew led with 21 points during Saturday’s BCIAA Quarterfinals match against Tulpehocken. No. 1 Wilson took on No. 8 Tulpehocken at Muhlenberg during the first leg of a women’s post-season double-header, 53-28.
Wilson dominated the first half of play, limiting Tulpehocken to just 2 points at the end of the first quarter. Brew’s relentless first half pushed the Lady Bulldogs to an impressive 37-6 lead over the Lady Trojans at the end of two. Brew shot for 21 points on the afternoon, all of which were scored during the first and second quarter of play.
Tulpehocken tried to organize during the third quarter, however Wilson continued to show dominance. The Lady Bulldogs took the third with a 44-18 lead over the Trojans.
The late Tulpehocken rally was not enough to hold off an impressive No. 1 Wilson. Wilson ended the day with a 53-28 win over the Trojans during a first round BCIAA showdown. With Berks Catholic’s win over Conrad Wesier, Wilson moves on to face the Saints on Tuesday at Santander Arena.
