The Tigers, who came in red hot, were looking to extend their win streak to 6 games, their longest such streak in over a decade.
Fleetwood got off to an 11-0 run to open up the game, which went a long way in opening up the floodgates.
When the first quarter came to a close, the Tigers held an 18-3 lead over their opponents. Kutztown simply did not have an answer for the Fleetwood front-court. Kyle Flannery scored 9 of his 11 points during the first frame. He also pulled in 4 of his team-high 7 rebounds.
The second quarter did not go any better for the visiting Cougars, who were outscored 16-5 during the stanza. When the first half came to a close, the Cougars trailed 34-8. The 26 point deficit was the largest of the season for Fleetwood.
Fleetwood would once again dominate the third quarter before calling off the dogs. With several key players on the bench, the Tigers still managed to outscore Kutztown 21-8 in the third quarter, on their way to a 55-16 lead.
The Tigers would ultimately go on to win the game 65-24.
Leading the way for Fleetwood was Tyler Nolt, who posted 14 points. Kyle Flannery had 11 points and 7 rebounds, while Clay Weidemoyer and Jared Reaser each added 9 points. Jordan Kemp had a team-best 6 points for the Cougars.
The Tigers, who improved to 10-5 with the win, will take on Brandywine Heights in Topton on Tuesday.
The Cougars, now 1-13, will host Oley Valley on Thursday in a Berks III showdown.
