Football: Quinter Chooses Lafayette

Muhlenberg standout WR/S Elias Quinter has committed to Lafayette College, a source tells BIC Sports.

Quinter finished his high school career with 84 catches for 1198 yards and also rushed 14 times for 96 yards.  Elias scored 16 career touchdowns and also intercepted 12 passes from his safety position.

It is unclear at this time which side of the ball Quinter will play on for the Leopards, but if he stays at receiver he could be catching passes from former Wilson QB Zach Zweizig.

The Leopards finished this season with a 5-7 record and lost in the first round of the NCAA playoffs to New Hampshire.

Next season, the Leopards will square off with Lehigh at Yankee Stadium in the 150th edition of “The Rivalry”.
