Governor Mifflin has one more test before its final showdown with Conrad Weiser; the Mustangs will travel to Raider country this Friday night to take on Twin Valley.
Mifflin is lead by it’s impressive defense and big playmaking ability of running back Wilson Fontanez, while the Raiders are led by their quarterback Alec Ranck who hopes to help end Mifflin’s Section 1 title aspirations.
The Mustangs have held their opponents to an impressive 14 point total over the last five wins, including three shutouts. Twin Valley who has showed improvements over the 2013 season but is still looking for their first win on the year.
If the Raiders hope to pull the upset they will need to not only contain Fontanez but also look out for big playmakers such as Chambers, Hoff and Johnson.
Ranck also needs to pay special attention to Mustang defensive back Aric Dupell who leads Section 1 with 5 interceptions.
I believe the Mustangs will take care of business on the road but as always expect Twin Valley to play hard to the final buzzer and compete as they always do.
