Mifflin keeps rolling against Pottsville

The mustangs continued their perfect run in section 1 as they rolled over the tide by a score of 40-0. The evening provided a strong defensive effort from Mifflin along with big plays from Fontanez and the rest of the offense.

Wilson Fontanez had a historic night with 223 yards rushing, 3 scores on just 14 carries. Junior Quarterback Jan Johnson also had over 100 yards on the ground while scoring once and adding a touchdown through the air.

The Mifflin offense wowed fans while racking up 456 yards on the evening. While the Mustang defense held up its end of the bargain holding the tide to just 148 total yards on offense.

Mustang defensive back Aric Dupell continued his impressive streak of games with Int as he picked off another pass this Friday evening.

The Mustangs have held their opponents to 14 points over the last four games.  They now stand at 5-0 in the section as they travel to Twin Valley next week before a showdown with Conrad Weiser. Pottsville now stands at 4-4 overall and will play host to Exeter next week.
