Exeter gets back on track against Twin Valley

The Exeter Eagles spent this week regrouping after a tough loss to Muhlenberg last Saturday. A 35-9 victory over the Raiders of Twin Valley definitely helped put that loss in the rear view mirror.

Ethan Lutz was a two way star for the Eagles as he had a 29 yard interception return for a touchdown and an impressive 79 yard td scamper. Manny Soto also got in on the big play theme of the evening with a 70 yard touchdown run of his own. Soto and Lutz both broke 100 yards on the evening.

Alec Ranck helped get the Raiders on the board with a 1 yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Twin Valley did hold the eagles too zero points in the second half while recording a safety.

The Exeter defense would put on an impressive show of their own. The eagles held the Raiders to just two yards rushing on 21 carries. The boys in blue also picked off two passes.

Chase Yocum was his usual productive self with two scores including an 11 yard pass to Robbie Devich. The Eagles will try and keep the momentum going as they travel to Pottsville next week.  While Twin Valley  will play host to Governor Mifflin next Friday night.
