Berks Football Power Rankings: Week 8

1. Wilson (5-0, 8-0) [Even]Wilson Logo
The Bulldogs put away Manheim Township 17-0 on Friday. They will face their toughest challenge of the season against a very good Penn Manor team this week.
2. Berks Catholic (4-0, 8-0) [Even]Berks_Catholic
The Saints stayed perfect this past weekend with a win over Fleetwood. They will travel to Kutztown this Friday before facing Wyomissing in a presumed winner-take-all Section 2 matchup next week.
3. Gov. Mifflin (5-0, 6-2) [Even]Governer_Mifflin_Logo
The Mustangs won their 23rd consecutive Section 1 contest on Friday when they took down Pottsville. They will travel to Twin Valley this week before heading to Conrad Weiser.
4. Conrad Weiser (4-1, 7-1) [+1]Conrad_Weiser_Logo
The boys of Weiser used to big play to get by a very good Muhlenberg team this past Friday. They will travel to Reading Friday before a must win game against Governor Mifflin next week.
5. Muhlenberg (3-2, 6-2) [-1]muhlenburg
The Muhls fell to a very strong Conrad Weiser team on Friday night, but they will have to shake that off when they face Daniel Boone on Friday.
6. Exeter (3-2, 6-2) [Even]Exeter_Logo
The Eagles took care of business against Twin Valley on Friday. They will look to keep their winning ways going when they face Pottsville this week.
7. Wyomissing (4-0, 5-3) [Even]Wyomissing Logo
The Spartans just keep on winning in Section 2. They will face two very good teams in Schuylkill Valley and Berks Catholic over the next 2 weeks.
8. Blue Mountain (3-2, 4-4) [+2]
The Eagles became the first team in Section 2 to have a 1000 yard rusher and 1000 yard passer during their win over Kutztown. They have now won 3 games in a row heading into their matchup with Fleetwood.
9. Schuylkill Valley (1-3, 5-3) [+3]Schuylkill Valley Logo
The Panthers got back in the win column with an impressive win over Donegal on Friday. They will host Wyomissing this week, in what could be a District 3 playoff matchup 2 weeks from now.
10. Boyertown (4-3, 5-3) [-2]Boyertown Bears
The Bears struggled mightily against a very good Perkiomen Valley team. They will host Pope John Paul II on Friday.
11. Fleetwood (2-2, 4-4) [-2]Fleetwood
The Tigers have now lost 2 in a row, albeit to very good teams. They will need to step up defensively if they hope to beat a suddenly hot Blue Mountain team.
12. Pottsville (2-3, 4-4) [-1]Pottsville Logo
The Crimson Tide have struggled on offense the past few weeks, but they will get a shot at redemption when they face Exeter on Friday.
13. Daniel Boone (2-3, 3-5) [+1]Daniel_Boone_Blazers_Logo
The Blazers got back in the win column against Reading on Friday. They will face a tough test against Muhlenberg this week.
14. Hamburg (1-4, 4-4) [-1]Hamburg_Hawks
The Hawks have lost 3 games in a row heading into their non-league matchup with Pequea Valley on Friday.
15. Reading (1-4, 2-6) [Even]Reading Logo
The Red Knights dropped a close one to Daniel Boone this past week. They will turn their attention towards upsetting Conrad Weiser this week.
16. Twin Valley (0-5, 0-8) [Even]Twin Valley Logo
The Raiders fell to Exeter this past Friday, but will now focus on containing a very good Governor Mifflin team.
17. Kutztown (0-4, 0-8) [Even]kutztown_high_logo
The Cougars were dealt a lopsided loss by Blue Mountain this past Friday, following a tumultuous week, which saw their head coach step down. They will face the daunting task of trying to beat Berks Catholic this Friday.
