1. Wilson (4-0, 7-0) [Even]Wilson Logo
The Bulldogs faced their toughest test of the season when they faced Lancaster Catholic, but they still managed to stay perfect.
2. Berks Catholic (4-0, 7-0) [Even]Berks_Catholic
The Saints stayed perfect with a big win over Hamburg. They will look to stay perfect against a good Fleetwood team this week.
3. Gov. Mifflin (4-0, 5-2) [Even]Governer_Mifflin_Logo
The Mustangs won 35-0 over Reading on Friday. They have now won 22 straight games against Section 1 opponents. Up next is an improved Pottsville team.
4. Muhlenberg (3-1, 6-1) [+1]muhlenburg
The Muhls moved to 6-1 behind Berks County’s top defense. They will have a showdown with Conrad Weiser this week.
5. Conrad Weiser (3-1, 6-1) [+1]Conrad_Weiser_Logo
The Scouts have been red hot since their loss to Exeter, especially on the defensive side of the ball. They will look to contain Muhlenberg’s strong offense on Friday.
6. Exeter (2-2, 5-2) [-2]Exeter_Logo
The Eagles fell to Muhlenberg this week, but that’s certainly nothing to be ashamed of. They will finish out the season against Twin Valley, Pottsville, and Daniel Boone.
7. Wyomissing (3-0, 4-3) [+2]Wyomissing Logo
The Spartans are now 3-0 in Section 2 after an impressive win against Fleetwood. They have won 15 consecutive Section 2 battles heading into their matchup against Hamburg.
8. Boyertown (4-2, 5-2) [+2]Boyertown Bears
The Bears trounced Phoenixville 62-7 on Friday. RB Cody Richmond is the county’s first 1000 yard rusher of the season. They will face a very good Perk Valley team this week.
9. Fleetwood (2-1, 4-3) [-2]Fleetwood
The Tigers struggled against Wyomissing and will likely be missing Tyler Emge for at least another week. They have to face a very strong Berks Catholic team this week, before facing Blue Mountain and Kutztown. They still have hopes of a district 3 playoff berth, but it won’t come easy.
10. Blue Mountain (2-2, 3-4) [+2]
The Eagles have now won back to back games over Hamburg and Schuylkill Valley. They face a winless Kutztown team this week in search of a 3 game win streak.
11. Pottsville (2-2, 4-3) [Even]Pottsville Logo
The Crimson Tide won a thriller over Daniel Boone this past Friday night. They will hope to play spoiler this week when they travel to Gov. Mifflin.
12. Schuylkill Valley (1-3, 4-3) [-4]Schuylkill Valley Logo
The Panthers started out red hot before dropping 3 games in a row. They will travel to Donegal this Friday in a non-league matchup in hopes of snapping their losing streak.
13. Hamburg (1-3, 4-3) [Even]Hamburg_Hawks
After dropping their last 2 games to Berks Catholic and Blue Mountain, the Hawks will look to hand Wyomissing their first Section 2 loss this week.
14. Daniel Boone (1-3, 2-5) [Even]Daniel_Boone_Blazers_Logo
The Blazers may not be among the leagues best in wins, but they have played everyone close. Look for more of the same when they face Reading on Friday.
15. Reading (1-3, 2-5) [Even]Reading Logo
The Red Knights are a tough bunch to figure out. They feature some of the best playmakers in Berks County. Reading will look to right the ship against Daniel Boone on Friday.
16. Twin Valley (0-4, 0-7) [Even]Twin Valley Logo
The Raiders will travel to Exeter this week in search of their first win. Coach Gaunt does have to be pleased with the play of some of his younger guys.
17. Kutztown (0-3, 0-7) [Even]kutztown_high_logo
Zach Mickey is certainly making his presence felt as the Cougars new signal caller as his 178.72 passer rating would be best in Berks if he qualified. The Cougars will look to knock off a suddenly hot Blue Mountain team Friday.
