Each week seems to be another audition for Nick Scheidt, showing off why he should be the Section 2 offensive player of the week.
He did not disappoint again in SV’s 46-0 victory over Kutztown. Scheidt’s numbers included 18 rushes for 141 yards and 3 touchdowns; another normal outing for the Valley running back.
The Panthers defense would also put on a clinic of its own this Friday evening. They held the Cougars to just 87 total yards. Schuylkill Valley would also force 4 turnovers including interceptions from Johnson and Sausser.
Tanner Mish also had a big game receiving for the Panthers he hauled two touchdown passes of 42 and 8 yards.
Schuylkill Valley which now stands at 4-0 will head to Fleetwood next week for a Saturday night game. While Kutztown who is still looking to get into the win column will take on Hamburg next week.
