Berks Catholic went to 2-0 on Friday night as they romped the Raiders of Twin Valley by a score of 48-6.
Big plays seemed to be the theme this evening as the Saints got touchdowns from 7 different players. The longest score on the night came from the defensive side of the ball. Isaac Lutz took an interception 85 yards for the score.
The loss sent Twin Valley to 0-2 on the season.
The six other scores came from Cooper Kutz, Marcus Wilson, Blake Lutz, Chris Warren, Pop Lacey and Todd Reedy.
The Saints forced three turnovers on the night, two interceptions and one fumble recovery, while the Berks Catholic offense did not attempt one punt on the evening. Drew Stanko also went 6-6 for extra points.
The Saints will travel to Chestnut Ridge next week. While Twin Valley will play this Thursday against Kennett.
