The Tide rolled high this past Friday night as they took down the Red Knights by a score 28-16.
On a night where the Knights would out-gain Pottsville in yardage by a count of 329 to 264, they would still leave empty handed in the battle for the lump of coal.
Pottsville got two scores from Darion Jacoby to lead the way for the home team. Jacoby would have scampers of 49 yards and a short 2 yard run.
Reading got its scores from Sterling Young-Trapp and Savon Branford. The Red Knights also received a strong effort from wide-out Dontae Owens who had 5 catches for 67 yards.
Pottsville who is now 3-1 this season will take on Muhlenberg next week. Reading who is now 1-3 will head to take on winless Twin Valley next week.
