This week the Kutztown Cougars came as close as ever to winning a game at they fell 21-19 to Pequea Valley.
Kutztown lead 19-15 late in the game before allowing a touchdown pass with just under four minutes to go.
The Cougars were in a winning position thanks to key contributions from running back Zach Sessions (18 carries, 154 yards, 1 touchdown) and quarterback Nate Onorofsky (23 carries, 107 yards, 1 touchdown).
Onorofsky also played a key role defensively grabbing an interception. However, it was Bryce Santos who had a pick 6 for the Cougars.
Next week the Cougars will travel to Panther Valley in search of their first win in over a year.
