Donovan Jack Starts First Game on Penn State European Tour

Penn State sophomore Donovon Jack started at forward for the Nittany Lions in the first game of their European Tour Monday, a 110-64 win over Okapi Aalstar juniors in Aalst, Belgium.

Jack, a Berks Catholic grad, finished with six points for the Nittany Lions. He is expected to compete in the forward rotation this winter.

Jack played in 17 games for Penn State in his freshman season before a stress fracture in his right foot sidelined him for the year in February. He averaged 1.7 points per game and 1.0 rebounds per game in just over six minutes of action.

At Berks Catholic, Jack was a three time All-State selection (two first team honors) and finished with 1,725 points in his career (10th in Berks history). He also was Berks County’s Player-of-the-Year in 2011 and 2012.
